Hello, I’m John Lund, owner and lead builder at Bear Swamp Construction. I’m proud to bring over 20 years of diverse construction experience to each project I take on. My background includes formal training as a residential painter, a 15 year career as a construction electrician and extensive knowledge in building and remodeling.

Shortly after moving to Central VT in 2021, we began construction on our new family home surrounded by some of the most beautiful forest, babbling brooks and swamp, Vermont has to offer. This endeavor was my creative outlet, inspiring me to focus on my true passion in building and to start my own business. Now I find enormous joy in sharing my knowledge and skills with my clients, helping them make their own dreams become a reality.

I work hard to ensure quality results by networking with talented, like minded builders and craftspeople, supporting a team of true professionals. My goals are to foster mutual respect between the trades and client and provide open lines of communication from start to finish.
